Sinawali

Sinawali is a core art of the Inayan System of Eskrima and means "Pattern" or "To Weave". Practitioners "weave" sticks through different strikes to overwhelm their opponent. The principles behind this style of training can be employed at different ranges. While usually practiced with two sticks of equal length, the weapons used can vary and be inter-mixed. The practice of Sinawali helps build wrist and forearm strength as well as develop coordination, timing and rhythm.
